Responsible for all activities of The Small Business Company globally. Glen writes, presents, invents, advises, designs, develops and shares his accumulated 20 years of business experience with small business people and organisations around the world. He has started eight successful small businesses and is still a director of four (The Small Business Company, Guthrie and Steele, Camera and Digital, and Future Capital).

Andy Coughlin CEO The Small Business Company UK
Responsible for all activities and clients in the UK. Andy has 10 years' experience helping Corporate, Government and Business Support Agencies with their marketing and communications to small businesses. Prior to that, he was in sales for IBM and Compaq.

Joe Kearns General Manager
Ensures all the IT projects are completed on time and within budget. Joe has an extensive background in innovative technology, providing design and project management expertise. He is the architect for our software strategy.

Production team

Bruce Young Project Manager
Develops small business resources that fit with our education content, providing a smooth transition between client content and the developed product. He also manages our online and portal projects.

Wei Yu .Net Developer
Wei is an expert in dot Net application development, the underlying structure of many of our web based e-learning products.

Mike Bell .Net Developer
Bolts together many of our projects and custom creates IT solutions for our clients. He created the TSBC e-newsletter engine.

Content team

Tim Ackroyd Business Portal Manager
Writes, manages and maintains our business portal projects. Tim worked inside www.businesslink.gov.uk for a number of years, and understands the machinery of working with large complex portals requiring multiple layers of content and interactivity.

Ian McBride Content Manager
Edits and amends all of our written content, from books, guides and workshop notes to online content and software education. He is our wordsmith. He also manages our printing and publishing projects.

Sharon Davis Expert Writer
Sharon has a wide range of international business experience, writing for international websites and publications, and has written a number of award winning articles. She writes, researches and maintains the writing engine room.

Neil Briggs Expert Writer
While running his own video production company, Neil contributes his IT knowledge and online experience to write, research and edit our online training content.

Francesca Eldridge Expert Writer
Working alongside Sharon, Francesca is primarily responsible for quality control, using her editing and proofing expertise to make sure all our written work is correct (especially anything written by Glen).

Kate Guthrie Design
Provides design support and gives us an objective view on all our completed projects. Kate ensures that design plays a large part in our final delivery.

Lee Mene Project and administration manager
Lee manages all of our contracts ensuring milestones are met on time and provides administration support such as invoicing and reporting.
