Frequently asked questions

How long will the training take?
Our training is designed to give you at least an hour's worth of work. While working through the training may take you less than this, there are a number of downloads, templates, and things to action in your business which should take around an hour.

Remember you can come back to the training at any stage over the course of your subscription.

I've forgotten my login details, what should I do?
Your user name is your email address. Go to our forgotten your password area to be automatically emailed your password. If there's still a problem, please email support@tsbc.co.uk.

I've changed my email address, what should I do?
Login (using your old email address) for the time being and email your new address to support@tsbc.co.uk. We'll notify when your username has been amended.

Do I need any special software to run your online training?
Probably not. You will need a reasonably recent browser (Internet Explorer 5 or higher), and you'll need to have Macromedia Flash player 5 or higher installed on your machine - chances are you already have this. Go here: http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome/ to test if you have it installed on your machine. To download the latest version of Flash Player go to: http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer.

What if my computer crashes, or I lose my internet connection half way through a workshop?
All information you enter into any templates or boxes while you are online, gets saved each time you move to another page. So if your computer crashes then just start up again, login and you will be back to where you were working just before the crash.

If you have any technical problems email support@tsbc.co.uk

Do I need broadband to access these workshops?
No. We have developed these online workshops to be accessible from a normal modem (a 56k connection will be fine). Our workshops are not media rich on purpose (no talking heads or video streaming), so you get the information that you want quickly – without any media gimmicks.

I have old software and cannot download the templates. What should I do?
Our templates will work on Office 98 and later. If you do not have Office 98 or later then maybe it is time to upgrade.

I can't access the workshop and keep getting the same error message?
The problem may be that the security settings on your computer are set too high. The training needs to place 'cookies' on your machine to operate successfully. Locate your security settings (In Internet Explorer, select Internet Options under the Tools menu, then click on the Security tab) and adjust these before trying to access the training again. A medium or moderate setting should be fine. If you are using an older browser you must agree to accept 'cookies'.
