What this module is about
All small businesses have a customer database in some form. But are you using yours as wisely as you might? This module will encourage you to recognise that your customer database is a valuable asset that needs to be protected and used correctly.
How much does it cost?
These modules are provided free by Royal Mail.
Why you should do it
Two reasons: First, most small businesses do not use their database as effectively as they could, either through lack of time or understanding about just how important their database is.
Secondly, business records, customer details, trading history and business methods are increasingly stored in digital form. Without some form of protection, losing this data could seriously compromise your business.
Who should complete it
Small-business owners and managers who already have most of their business information and contact records stored digitally.
If the data was lost, their business would suffer significant losses (both in terms of money and time to recreate all the data).
